Each Rhizomex® vegetable capsule contains natural and organic ingredients: 250 mg of powdered Lagundi leaves (Vitex negundo L.) extract and 250 mg of powdered Ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinale) extract.

Ideally, take two (2) Rhizomex® capsules 1 - 2 times a day, or as prescribed by a doctor.

If you miss a dose, just take the next dose of Rhizomex® at the usual recommended schedule. Do not double the dose.

Consult your doctor immediately if you have taken more than the recommended dosage for Rhizomex®.

There is no information regarding overdosage with this product. However, some individual components of Rhizomex® may trigger adverse reactions:

• Ginger (Zingiber officinale): High doses of ginger (above 6 g) can be gastric-irritant and lead to heartburn. It’s also known to have antiplatelet effects and increase someone’s bleeding risk.

• Lagundi (Vitex negundo L.): Lagundi doses of 7.5 mg or more may lead to internal damage such as histomorphological change in heart, lungs, and liver.

Avoid taking Rhizomex® if you’re:

• Allergic to any ingredient in the product

• Pregnant and breastfeeding

• Diagnosed with blood disorders

• Going to undergo surgery

• Below 18 years old

If you have gallstones, consult your doctor before taking products with ginger preparations like Rhizomex® as well.

To date, there are no studies or information regarding Rhizomex®’s interaction with other medications and supplements. However, some of this product’s individual components may interfere with some medicines:

• Lagundi: It may have an undesirable effect when taken alongside Paracetamol.

• Ginger: It’s known to interact with anticoagulants that can slow down blood clots, and antiplatelet medicines that can decrease platelet adhesiveness. 

If you’re taking blood-thinning medications, consult your doctor before taking Rhizomex.

Rhizomex® is generally safe and well-tolerated. Consult your doctor if you plan on taking Rhizomex®. If side effects occur, seek medical attention immediately.
